About Me

My name is Matt Starnes. I’m a husband, podcaster, writer and marketing superhero. I’m THE Matt Starnes, the one who created and wrote the “Leather Jacket Guy” series and other comics.  The one you used to hear on Gorilla radio back in the day as “Banana Jack” or “Socrates” or “Matt the Van Man.”  And now I’m the host and co-creator of the podcast “Guardians of the Geekery” and working on new writing projects.

Matt is also a co-organizer of The Charlotte Geeks and helps out with their annual Geek Gala charity.
